An introductory seminar on the ethics of listening, speech and subjectivity in psychoanalytic practice. This event is designed for students, clinicians and anyone interested in understanding what distinguishes psychoanalytic listening from other forms of attention. Participants will be introduced to fundamental concepts of the clinical encounter, the role of free association and the function of silence in psychoanalytic work. No prior knowledge of psychoanalysis is required.

This event is part of INPSYCO's international program of psychoanalytic education, clinical reflection and interdisciplinary dialogue.
